Is this compatible with Wordpress 2.9?
We have tested this plugin with 2.9.1 and it works. We have tested this with the Danvers Theme and the Mimbo Theme. Category links in navigation and in the sidebar are affected.
The Plugin doesn’t work for some reason.
It is my fault for this situation. I am a little fresh to plugin building, and I used short-tags for this plugin. I forget some hosts don’t use short-tags and most likely will be phased out in the next php release. I will have a non-short-tag version shortly ( probably around St. Patty’s)

Yeah, having same problem here. Since updating to 3.0 Thelonious keep getting a permissions error. Have no idea how to fix this.
I have same problem. Plugin worked just fine with 2.9 but with wordpress 3.0 I get “You do not have sufficient permissions…
By the way this is a great plugin and I use it often so hope there is some solution for this.

OK, I found a solution.
This plugin works with 3.0 Thelonious and does general redirections including category redirect:

I was hoping to get a copy of the category redirect, currently your download has nothing inside the zipfile.

I also cannot access the settings and am getting a “You do not have sufficient permission” message. It used to work on 2.9.2 but not since I “upgraded” to 3.0.

Yea user number options has been long deprecated. But I got used to them when I started so I just missed it.
I have wordpress 3.0 and looks as though category plugin will work with the version, but i’m still getting the message “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.” Any ideas? Is this working for anyone else? Maybe another plugin is interfering with it.

No this doesn’t , but to do that, you can use the Page Links to plugin and put the category url in the page links to spot on the page. Works like a charm.
The download 1.5 plugin is really the 1.1 version!
