Your Wordpress MU 2.9.1 Upgrade/Update Failed? Some Helpful Tips.

Just going through some stuff I have found when I was helping a friend upgrade his Wordpress MU to 2.9.1 and it failed. Look over these suggestions first before making your decision:

Wordpress MU Tip: Install In Linux Server Only

Unless you are highly knowledgeable in setting up Windows servers with different programs, it would be best to use a Linux server. Hostgator uses Linux servers, and I use Hostgator shared hosting.
If you know of any other hosts that are really good with their shared/dedicated hosting with Wordpress MU, let me know.

Wordpress MU Knowledge : GoDaddy Hosting

There was a thread of a fatal error when someone was installing Wordpress MU onto GoDaddy. In the MU Forums, one of the most intelligent MU people in the community ( VentureMaker ) had some good advice for this problem.
Essentially, Wordpress MU has problems with Windows Servers, and should be installed in Linux servers only. [...]
